Might slow down for just a bit

I've been in a bit of a slump lately, especially regarding art. I've been struggling to come up with art ideas that I like and the act of drawing has been...well...not particularly fun or relaxing. So I'm considering taking a bit of a break, or at least slowing down, until some of my passion returns. I think that focusing on something else for some time might be what I need to get back in the drawing groove.

......Maybe I should try getting back into Garry's Mod animations...?

Adjusting

After spending a few months without a good art program, I now have Clip Studio Paint EX. In addition, I also bought a XP-PEN Deco Pro pen tablet to replace my old Wacom, since I had no way of getting it to work properly with this new computer.

It’s a little intimidating, opening up the program for the first time. I think it’s gonna be a while longer before I have everything set up in a way that’s comfortable. Starting over is rarely an easy process, but at least now I can begin moving forward.

Update: New Computer, No Photoshop, Bleh

So I bid farewell to my decade-old computer and got a new one recently. Got most of my old files transferred over, still working on reinstalling programs. Bit of a pain.

Main thing bothering me right now is that I’m probably not going to be able to get my old version of Photoshop on this thing, and seeing how Adobe’s current handling of Photoshop is...significantly dickish...I’m not sure if I’ll even have Photoshop at all. My sister’s recommending Clip Studio Paint, which I may  have to look into.

Anyway, that’s where I’m at now. Guess we’ll just have to see what happens, yeah?
